One of the injured officers is Jakub Kulik, a former paratrooper and volunteer firefighter originally from Bielsko-Biala. Kulik sustained three gunshot wounds during the exchange and underwent surgery following the event. The second officer, Artur Morański, was struck in the chest area and also underwent a medical procedure.
