An advocacy group tracking political alignments has released its latest election scorecard, identifying hundreds of winning candidates categorized as favorable to the digital asset sector. According to the metrics compiled by Stand With Crypto, a total of 222 House winners and 19 Senate winners have been classified under its pro-crypto ratings following the recent vote counts.
At the same time, the group's scorecard also documented 106 House winners and eight Senate winners placed into an anti-crypto classification. These tallies were refreshed on its results page following counts that covered a large portion of congressional races, though the figures remain unofficial pending formal certification. The organization sources its underlying election results from Decision Desk HQ.
Pro Crypto Politicians in Focus
The updated figures provide industry supporters with an inventory of candidates who have expressed positions aligned with digital assets. In a congratulatory social media thread, the advocacy organization highlighted several victorious contenders. Among those mentioned were Mark Messmer of Indiana and Riley Moore of West Virginia, both noted as co-sponsors of the CLARITY Act. Additional named winners included Eugene Vindman of Virginia and Janelle Stelson of Pennsylvania, both of whom have voiced backing for digital asset legislation.
Legislative records show that the underlying CLARITY bill previously cleared the House of Representatives by a 294-134 margin with bipartisan backing. However, the measure later stalled in the Senate during procedural hurdles amid ongoing policy debates surrounding banking risks, customer safeguards, and stablecoin rewards.
Advocacy group scorecards identify winning candidates favorable to digital assets, though legislative outcomes remain unconfirmed.
Otto Jacobsson, chief executive of Yap Global, remarked publicly that voter sentiment appeared favorable toward digital assets while remaining skeptical of physical AI infrastructure.
Why it matters
The tracking of pro crypto politicians offers insight into the political landscape surrounding upcoming digital asset legislation. While advocacy scorecards outline individual lawmaker positions, these tallies do not establish a formal voting coalition or resolve ongoing policy disputes regarding banking protections and regulatory frameworks.
