A Manchester court has heard a husband who invited men to abuse his unconscious wife arranged for reviews on a swingers website.

A Manchester crown court jury has been told that a husband in his sixties invited numerous men to his marital home in Stockport to rape and sexually assault his unconscious wife. The prosecution stated that the man, who cannot be named to protect the victim, pleaded guilty to more than sixty offences against her. Nine other men are currently on trial at Manchester Minshull Street crown court, accused of taking part in the abuse or encouraging it online.

Prosecutor Louise Oakley KC detailed how the husband's actions continued into early 2025 as he sought to satisfy his own perversity. The court heard testimony regarding several defendants who allegedly participated or sought imagery of the assaults. Among them, Daniel Rayner is accused of non-contact offences, while Philip Wild and Mohammed Sabir are accused of sexually abusing the woman in a single night. Following the abuse, the husband reportedly asked Sabir to write a review of the experience on a swingers website.

The trial also outlined allegations against Jordan Wallace and Alan Keelan, who are accused of participating in subsequent assaults after being invited to the address. Evidence presented to the jury included communications, digital imagery, and testimony detailing how the victim was unconscious and unable to consent during the incidents. Several defendants have pleaded not guilty to charges including rape, attempted rape, and conspiracy to commit sexual offences.
