Police Scotland is investigating information received regarding a visit by Jeffrey Epstein and Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor to the royal estate at Balmoral.
Police authorities in Scotland have confirmed that active inquiries are underway following the receipt of information concerning a visit by Jeffrey Epstein and Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor to the royal estate at Balmoral. Detectives are currently examining the time spent at the sovereign property in the Scottish Highlands, an occasion during which Ghislaine Maxwell was also in attendance.
The investigation into the Jeffrey Epstein visit to Balmoral remains at an extremely preliminary phase. According to reports published by the Daily Express, these ongoing police inquiries stem from allegations that women might have been trafficked to the private Scottish estate during that period.
Previously published photographs released by the United States Department of Justice appear to depict Mountbatten-Windsor alongside the late convicted sex offender participating in a shooting excursion on the royal grounds.
Police Scotland confirmed that active inquiries into the Balmoral visit are currently ongoing.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland addressed the situation by stating that information has indeed been received and that active inquiries are continuing. The representative stressed that these investigative steps are currently at a very preliminary stage. Furthermore, the force emphasized that every inquiry conducted remains strictly evidence-led, ensuring that the needs and welfare of victim survivors stay at the core of all investigative efforts.
The law enforcement agency also noted that it is standard policy never to confirm specific details regarding ongoing investigations and that any further commentary would be inappropriate at this juncture as detectives continue to evaluate the gathered information.
